MementoMori is a fantasy RPG set in a land shattered by supernatural curses. Its story follows girls branded as witches: first hunted by the Church of Longinus, they become a source of hope as nations fall to destructive forces and the broken world drifts into the sky. The characters’ struggle is framed around their belief that freeing the land from darkness is the right thing to do.
Combat blends accessible full-auto battles with strategic choices. The girls continue fighting through an idle system while you are away, and combining their magical powers offers ways to shape your approach. Gear enhancement lets you influence character growth, while story progress unlocks additional content. The game also features guilds, giving friends a way to communicate and organize together.
Music and presentation are central to MementoMori’s identity. Live2D animation brings its battles to life, while each girl’s emotions are expressed through songs called “Laments.” The soundtrack features performances by renowned artists, alongside Japanese voice acting that can be changed to English in the settings. Together, the music and character art underscore a story of fragile hearts, persecution, and an uncertain hope for a damaged world.
