Its arcade mode gives every character a story, putting the supernatural setting alongside the game’s central draw: a large roster built for varied fighting styles.
Each playable character can be used with Crescent Moon, Full Moon or Half Moon Style. These are not merely cosmetic choices: the store description says each style changes the selected character’s behaviour, inviting players to experiment and find a preferred approach. With 31 characters and three styles apiece, the game makes character selection a substantial part of shaping a matchup.
The play format ranges from Training and Versus to online Rank Match and Player Match. Versus supports player-versus-player, player-versus-CPU and CPU-versus-CPU battles, while Training lets players get familiar with characters and their styles.
