MARVEL Puzzle Quest turns Marvel’s heroes and villains into a team-building puzzle RPG. Players recruit characters from across the Marvel Universe, collect comic-cover art to unlock them, and strengthen their roster by adding Covers. That progression gives character collection a practical role: improving a hero’s powers and preparing a team for tougher challenges.
Its battle board is more than a matching exercise. Matching three or more gems generates Attack Power, which fuels character abilities; skills can deal damage or change the board. Choosing matches, using powers and pairing heroes therefore shape each fight, blending familiar match-3 play with tactical team decisions. The game also offers head-to-head PvP, seasonal tournaments, story events and daily challenges, giving the roster different competitive and challenge settings.
Its format brings roster-building and solo challenges together with competition against other players, so a count sits alongside a game designed for more than one kind of session.
