Mars First Logistics turns cargo delivery into a hands-on engineering challenge. Across a procedurally generated Martian landscape, players build mechanized rovers and pilot them to move awkward cargo for Martians’ construction projects. Loads may be heavy, fragile, bouncy, or prone to floating away, so each job asks for a machine suited to the task rather than a standard vehicle.
An editor lets players assemble creations from more than 100 parts, including springs, hydraulic cylinders, servo motors, and rocket engines. There is no single correct design: success depends on adapting a rover to the cargo and terrain, or building something for the pleasure of experimentation. Successful deliveries earn funds and unlock parts and blueprints; they also open up infrastructure such as roads, powerlines, and monorails, while completed work brings new buildings to the growing world.
Standard and creative modes, alongside adjustable game settings, let players choose how they approach rover construction and work across Mars. The appeal lies in the cycle of designing a machine, testing it against an unusual load, and helping shape the settlement through successful deliveries.
