Make Way turns top-down racing into a shared course-building party game. Players choose from a menu of track pieces and snap them together, shaping a route before the race begins. Loops, seesaws, corkscrews and train crossings give the improvised courses their unruly character, while the option to build together or against one another makes track design part of the competition.
Once racing starts, six drivers jostle through checkpoints toward the finish, steering clear of hazards and trying to send rivals off course with weapons and power-ups. Checkpoints double as respawn points, so a collision need not end a run. Nor does crossing the line end the session: players add more pieces after each round, extending the course as they vie for bonus points and a trophy. The result is a party racer where track construction, combat and driving keep feeding into one another.
Customizable rules let groups toggle traps and safety barriers, while Team Mode is listed among the features added with the World Tour update. That combination of compact races and evolving, player-shaped courses is central to the game’s identity.
