LOVEPICAL-POPPY! is a comedic visual novel built around the unexpected change in Yaotome Tetsuya’s circumstances. After losing his home and job, he takes a live-in position at the all-girls dormitory where his younger sister lives. The arrangement provides room, board, and pay, but also brings responsibility for the residents and work at the attached crepe café.
The story’s everyday rhythm comes from those overlapping roles: Tetsuya cooks meals, tends to the residents’ needs, and works alongside them at the café. The household includes sharply contrasting personalities, from his socially awkward sister to a carefree gyaru and a dorm president who conceals a wish to depend on others.
