Love Curse: Find Your Soulmate casts the player as a college junior whose routine is upended after a near collision with a car. A mysterious woman warns that death will follow unless the protagonist finds a soulmate, turning campus life, work, and romance into parts of one urgent search. The premise mixes romantic tension with fantasy and historical elements, while asking which potential partner is sincere and who may be hiding a vendetta.
The story brings several possible relationships into the protagonist’s orbit: a childhood best friend, that friend’s sister, a student council president who helps with an internship, and the CEO of the protagonist’s workplace. Their appealing first impressions are not the whole picture. The game specifically describes its romanceable characters as having negative traits that emerge over the course of the story, giving the romantic choices a darker edge shaped by possessiveness, manipulation, and obsession.
This is a single-player visual novel, so its appeal centers on following a character-driven narrative rather than competing or cooperating with other players. The planned story spans approximately 200,000 words, with four romanceable characters and more than 40 exclusive CGs, including chibi versions.
