In Lost Eidolons, mercenary captain Eden is swept into rebellion after war reaches his village. He must rally allies against an imperial army, monsters, and threats within a corrupt, crumbling Empire. This gives the strategy game a personal wartime frame: the campaign is not only about defeating an invading force, but also about gathering people around a cause.
Battles play out on a grid, where positioning soldiers to make use of their class and magic skills is central to taking control of each encounter. Castles, bosses with distinctive abilities, and hulking monsters call for changes in tactics. Between fights, Eden builds a camp, recruits supporters, and learns about allies through their stories and struggles. Squad planning also extends to recruiting and training more than twenty playable characters across ten classes, with skills, spells, and passive abilities to unlock.
A New Game+ mode offers another way to approach the war: players can carry over selected stats and items, recruit different allies, test new strategies, and experiment with difficulty levels. Together, grid combat, camp life, and replay options give Lost Eidolons its blend of military strategy and character-focused rebellion.
