Lootborne is a casual role-playing game designed to share a corner of your desktop with other work. Its compact window and optional always-on-top setting let a hero fight and collect loot automatically while stamina lasts, then rest; players can check in to choose level-ups or adjust equipment. That low-attention rhythm gives the game a different feel from an RPG built around uninterrupted sessions.
Progression centers on equipment and build choices. Loot spans six rarities, and duplicate items can be put into a forge for a chance to improve them. Elemental affinities can combine into synergies, while perks and potions offer further ways to shape combat; stats can also be respecced. PvE is playable offline, with stamina still pacing play, so the core fighting-and-looting loop does not depend on a live connection.
For competition, Lootborne offers asynchronous PvP: players pit their builds against others without a lobby or queue, and challenges can resolve while the game is closed. It also includes a global ladder, Steam-friend challenges, and PvP bosses with exclusive gear.
