Loot of Baal is an idle RPG designed to sit in a screen sidebar, letting players send a crew of hirelings to explore, fight demons, and gather loot while they focus on other tasks. That multitasking format sets it apart from games built around continuous, full-screen action: its central loop is dispatching a team and developing its gear and abilities over time.
Team-building gives that loop a tactical edge. Players recruit from five classes, including Mage, Paladin, Ranger, Berserker, and Necromancer, then form three-hireling crews around class traits, skills, and the demands of different challenges. The game describes 72 skills and encourages combinations such as elemental attacks and team-supporting auras, giving players room to shape a crew rather than simply collect characters.
Loot and equipment provide another layer of experimentation. Drops draw randomized traits from a large pool of affixes, while crafting and socketing let players alter gear, use runes, and pursue Immortal-level upgrades. Online item trading is also part of the design.
