In Little-Known Galaxy, you join the Space Alliance as a captain-in-training and lead a quirky crew investigating an ancient relic found on the Grey Planet. The single-player adventure frames ship life as a growing community: daily conversations, gifts, missions, and story cinematics help you build relationships with your crewmates, while romance offers the possibility of marrying one of the ship’s singles.
Much of the distinctive play happens aboard your ship. You can arrange living quarters and deck space, grow crops, craft machines and decorations, and cook in an upgraded kitchen. Restoring broken or vacant areas with upgrades unlocks new features and crew opportunities. Away from the ship, you can explore alien planets, gather resources, encounter hostile lifeforms, and use a Laser Blaster to defend yourself. Microbe research and museum collections add further goals, alongside raising small aliens called Xeno.
Your captain’s progression also ties these activities together: mission objectives, crew morale, ship improvements, resource production, and microbe research contribute to rising through the ranks. The game’s cozy community focus sits alongside its planet-hopping and restoration systems, giving its spacefaring premise both domestic and exploratory dimensions.
