Lilly and Sasha: Nexus of Souls continues the story begun in Curse of the Immortals. Zahhak has taken control of Sasha’s body and seeks the powers of the Immortals, leaving Lilly determined to stop him even at the cost of confronting her own sister. That personal conflict gives the RPG’s adventure a sharply defined stake: the danger is tied to someone Lilly is trying to save as well as someone she may have to fight.
The sequel builds on its predecessor with new puzzles and skills, alongside runes and trinkets. New characters and ten new pets expand the journey’s cast and companion options; two pets can join Lilly and Sasha in battle at once. Those concrete additions point to a blend of exploration, character development and tactical combat, rather than a story presented apart from play. Its listed genres, RPG and Strategy, fit that combination, while the single-player category identifies the experience as a solo campaign.
The appeal rests instead on following Lilly’s difficult choice and engaging with the new puzzles, skills and battle companions. As the second part of a series, Nexus of Souls also frames its adventure as a continuation, carrying forward the conflict and journey of Curse of the Immortals.
