In Light Up The Town, the winter festival is approaching, but Bellflower, Colorado, remains dark. You play Bean, a young ferret whose father, local electrician Chuck, is out of commission, leaving her to decorate the town before a blizzard threatens the holiday. That community-minded setup gives the cozy, creative game a clear purpose: bring cheer to a place that needs it.
Decoration is the central activity. Click anywhere to toss string lights and holiday decorations across more than 18 handcrafted levels, then adjust each decoration’s size and rotation to shape your display. Coins scattered around town unlock additional lights and decorations, giving players more choices as they brighten Bellflower. The emphasis is on arranging decorations your own way rather than following a single prescribed look.
Its combination of freeform placement, unlockable choices, and a seasonal town-wide goal defines the play format: progress through crafted spaces while making each decorated scene your own.
