Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing puts players in the pilot’s seat of a first-person-view drone, framing racing as a test of control through simulated flight. Its realistic physics and advanced flight dynamics are central to the experience, aimed at both newcomers and seasoned pilots. That simulation focus gives the game a different character from a conventional racing title: mastering how a drone moves is part of the challenge.
The design also invites players to shape what they fly and where they fly it. Drones can be customized, while unique tracks and drones can be created and shared. Integration with transmitters supports a hands-on piloting setup, and the listed level editor and Steam Workshop features reinforce the game’s emphasis on user-created material. Single-player and multiplayer are both supported, including online PvP, so the flight model can be experienced alone or in competition with others.
Its identity rests on simulated FPV piloting as much as on racing, with customization and creation expanding the experience beyond fixed courses.
