LEGO® Worlds sets its adventure in procedurally generated environments made entirely from LEGO bricks. Players can reshape those surroundings, populate them with LEGO models, and build creations brick by brick. For broader terrain changes, landscaping tools let players form mountain ranges and add tropical islands, while prefabricated structures offer another way to customize a world.
Exploration is woven into that open-ended building. Players can travel by helicopter, dragon, motorbike, or gorilla, and seek treasures that enhance gameplay. Characters and creatures bring the constructed landscape to life, interacting with the player and with one another. This combination of world shaping, discovery, and animated inhabitants gives the game a distinctive sandbox character rather than centering its premise on a single fixed route.
The listed play formats include single-player, multiplayer, online co-op, online PvP, and shared or split-screen play.
