LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham sends Batman and other DC heroes beyond Earth to stop Brainiac, whose plan is to shrink worlds and add them to a collection of miniature cities. The crisis brings heroes and villains together on a journey across different Lantern Worlds, giving the familiar LEGO adventure a cosmic setting and a story built around unlikely alliances.
Combat reaches outer space and Lantern Worlds such as Zamaron and Odym, while the roster spans more than 150 unlockable heroes and villains with their own powers and abilities. The game also breaks up its action with virtual computer-terminal challenges: players escape mazes, fight in arenas, and race to find codes. A Gadget Wheel lets players choose and upgrade selected characters’ suits and abilities, adding customization alongside the battles and puzzles.
That format sits within a broader adventure that visits locations including the Batcave, Hall of Justice, and Justice League Watchtower, where shops, trophy rooms, and hero and vehicle customizers offer further activities.
