Landfall Archives gathers projects Landfall and its collaborators made from 2016 onward that did not reach store shelves. Rather than one continuous adventure, it presents a varied collection of games, demos and interactive presentations, including an early version of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. That archival premise makes the collection’s changing scale and style part of its identity: each project offers a different look at an idea being explored.
The mechanics range widely. In Post Game, players arrange conveyor belts to move packages and earn credits; Robots Forever makes individual parts of modular enemies destructible, while its sequel adds varied robots and randomly spawning upgraded weapons. Other entries pivot to airship construction and flight, missile-guided destruction of physics towers, or a top-down survival setting built around gathering resources. The collection also includes experimental formats such as an interactive slideshow explaining Landfall’s physics principles.
Its multiplayer projects add another dimension without defining the whole archive: Wrecktangels is a local player-versus-player battle with a time-slow mechanic, while Playful offers one-on-one scenarios shaped by players’ own rules and goals. Auction Brawl brings split-screen combat and bidding for items into the mix.
