Kreedz Climbing blends three-dimensional platforming, racing and puzzle-like challenges around one goal: completing courses as quickly as possible. Its focus is movement mastery rather than simply reaching the end. A checkpoint system lets players resume from a saved position after a mistake, while taking on a course without checkpoints offers a tougher test of consistency.
The game’s movement disciplines include jumping, surfing, bunnyhopping, bungee moves and powerjumps, with courses that can isolate one technique or combine several. Its varied maps span settings from rural and urban environments to space and surreal locations. Players can tackle maps alone or with others; co-op courses call for two to four players and use boosting and synchronized puzzle actions. For a change of pace, Tag Arena casts players as runners evading mobile seekers, with special pickups helping the runners escape.
Players can also build maps with the included Hammer world editor, adding a creative dimension to a game centered on learning routes and refining movement.
