Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD turns its series’ history into the premise: travel back to early Linirea and stop a young Vez’nan before darkness takes hold. Its campaign spans the Citadel, Stormcloud Depths and Arcania, with handcrafted stages built around distinct paths and mechanics. That gives each battlefield a particular strategic shape rather than treating the setting as scenery alone.
The defense toolkit combines 15 towers, 12 heroes and nine spells, with upgrade choices that let players tune their approach. Each stage allows two heroes, while individual upgrade trees for heroes and spells, plus global tower upgrades that can be retuned between stages, add room to refine a setup. Enemy waves draw on five factions, and the campaign also pits players against six bosses. The game’s single-player format makes this a campaign of individual tactical decisions, not a shared co-op session.
Beyond the main campaign, each stage unlocks five modes that alter the challenge. Iron Challenge centers on one devastating wave; Blitz asks players to outpace enemies; Hero Party puts four heroes in play without spells; Spell Rush restricts defenses to towers and spells. Classic Rush revisits the original game’s arsenal.
