Killsquad is a co-op action game that mixes twin-stick shooting with hack-and-slash combat in a science-fiction setting. Players choose from five hero classes, each with distinct weapons and skills, then pursue contracts across a campaign map spanning five planets. Its short mission format gives the action a focused rhythm: contracts are designed to last around 10 to 20 minutes, whether tackled solo or alongside a squad.
Combat emphasizes quick, direct control: shoot, dodge and manage waves of enemies, with bosses adding distinct mechanics to overcome. The mix of melee and ranged heroes supports different playstyles, while skill upgrades activate during contracts. Bounties earned by surviving missions can be spent on equipment, power-ups, gear and cosmetics. Weapons and equipment can also alter hero skills, and talismans introduce passive effects that develop through use, giving players several ways to shape a build.
The game supports solo play and co-op with up to four friends, as well as joining another squad mid-mission. Squads can cooperate to finish contracts or compete for the highest score, so Killsquad’s player-count context includes both coordinated mission play and a score rivalry within the team. Its blend of brief contracts, customizable heroes and hectic enemy encounters makes each outing a compact action challenge rather than a long-form dungeon crawl.
