KILLER INN - BETA is a playtest associated with KILLER INN, an online competitive action game built around hidden identities and a clash between Lambs and Wolves. This is a test app, so the parent game’s design provides context rather than a promise that every feature appears in the playtest. In the full game’s premise, Lambs try to identify and defeat Wolves concealed among them, while Wolves hunt their opponents without exposing themselves.
Instead of settling suspicions through discussion or votes, KILLER INN makes the mystery unfold through real-time preparation and combat. Players can use weapons ranging from guns and axes to knives and bombs, while Wolves are also expected to clear away evidence. Lambs can investigate through Focus Mode, which reveals traces such as footprints, casings and glass fragments, and the game’s location-aware voice chat lets players communicate with sound shaped by distance and surroundings. The result is a social deduction contest where judgment has immediate physical stakes.
Character abilities and equipment add another layer to the parent game’s design: players combine weapons, armor, tools and consumables around characters with distinct abilities. Wolves seek to eliminate the Lambs, while Lambs may also pursue escape by securing harbor-gate keys and raising the anchors. This unusual mix of investigation, deception and direct action gives the game’s mystery a distinctly combat-driven resolution. Playtest content may differ from the parent game.
