KILL IT WITH FIRE! 2 casts the player as an Exterminator battling a spider horde across the multiverse. Its campaign moves through seven distinct worlds, from a mysterious manor and a Wild West town to cyberspace and Spider Hell. Rather than treating each setting as a simple backdrop, the game describes every level as its own battle against the spiders, with challenges that range from defending a saloon to competing in a virtual-reality drone race.
The extermination toolkit spans 45 weapons and gadgets, mixing everyday absurdity with heavy firepower: players might swing a newspaper, burn spiders, or bring out a minigun, rocket launcher, or laser sword. Other activities lean into the game’s comic chaos, including brewing potions, demolishing a city as a giant creature, and taking on more than 60 challenges. The result is a creature-hunting action game built around varied scenarios and deliberately over-the-top solutions.
Players can tackle the story alone or in online co-op with up to four people. For a sharply different contest, Spider Hunt is an online PvP mode where humans play as either exterminators or spiders, with room for up to eight players.
