KIBORG casts the player as a prisoner serving a 1,300-year sentence in a future where death does not end punishment. The route to freedom is “The Last Ticket”: fight through other inmates, reach a shuttle on the prison roof, and win release. That stark objective gives the action a clear escape-driven frame, rather than making combat an end in itself.
Its design combines old-school beat ’em ups, shooters, and roguelikes. Fights are fast and dangerous, with enemies drawn from dozens of types whose abilities and tactics can be mixed into varied encounters. Combat emphasizes forceful close-quarters attacks, including severing limbs and breaking apart cybernetic cores, alongside firearms, combos, and special attacks. The result is a hybrid built around adapting to changing threats while pushing toward the shuttle.
Character customization adds another layer: players can replace body parts with cybernetic implants, then combine augmentations and mutations to shape different builds. Melee weapons and firearms support those varied approaches.
