Kemono Teatime is set in Melodius, where animal-eared kemomimi are part of everyday life and a café offers them a place to relax. Customers arrive with stories and, as the café’s description puts it, ultimate fates to face. The shop is open for a maximum of three weeks, while the reason for its limited run is left for players to uncover. That premise makes each meeting and goodbye part of a story about comfort and endings.
Tea-making gives the café its central activity: players can combine black teas, herbs, and secret ingredients to create blends, then get to know customers and prepare something they will enjoy. The staff bring distinct roles to the setting. Tarte is the tea-blending expert, Macaron is a patissiere, and traveler Quiche lodges at the café in exchange for gifts. Binaural-recorded sounds shape the café’s ASMR atmosphere, while background music changes with each customer, tying the audio design to its passing encounters.
Listed as a single-player adventure and simulation, Kemono Teatime is framed around individual visits to a story-led café rather than multiplayer play.
