Kart Racing Pro is a realistic karting simulator designed with real-driver training in mind. Its scratch-built physics engine models kart dynamics and setup options, giving the game a focus on vehicle behavior rather than a conventional career structure. A steering wheel is strongly recommended, while keyboards, joysticks and gamepads are also supported.
Its simulation details extend beyond basic handling: the game features chassis flex, an automotive-industry-standard tyre model, and changing track conditions. Surface grooves build up, wet tracks dry dynamically, and marbles can form on the circuit; tyres can pick up marbles, grass and dirt, affecting grip. Telemetry can be exported as CSV for reviewing driving sessions, while event statistics support comparison between drivers. The game also supports modding, including user-created tracks, karts and engines.
Kart Racing Pro has no AI opponents or career mode. Instead, players can host or join online races through integrated matchmaking, or race over LAN; a dedicated server is available.
