Joyquarium turns fishkeeping into a low-pressure idle game, built around tending an aquarium rather than managing a demanding simulation. Its single-player format suits a self-directed routine: feed the fish, watch them gather for food, and let the tranquil presentation provide a calm backdrop while you play.
Growth and income form the central loop. You can raise fish manually or use the Auto-AFK function, then sell grown fry for money or keep adult fish in the tank to generate income. That economy helps fund fry packs, which unlock new fish; packs can also reveal rare shiny and colorful variants, with the possibility of hatching a Fish King. The game describes a collection of 144 fish species, with more to come.
The aquarium is also a space to arrange, not just a source of earnings. A range of aquatic plants, driftwoods, and unusual landscaping stones gives players materials for shaping their tanks, while white noise and relaxing background music reinforce the laid-back design.
