Invisible Mind is an adventure built around the uneasy question of who you are. Its protagonist’s consciousness has been extracted from a frozen brain and placed in the special environment called Vacuumnet. There, the leaders of Complex seek memories of the patient’s past life as the protagonist wanders through worlds generated by their own mind. That setup makes the journey both a search through strange inner landscapes and an investigation into an uncertain personal history.
The game combines clue-finding and puzzle-solving with what it describes as real tests, intended to prompt players to learn more about themselves. Its questions range from whether someone is introverted or extroverted, to temperament and the provocative possibility of being partly robotic or schizophrenic. This self-examination gives the puzzles a philosophical frame rather than presenting them simply as obstacles on the way through a conventional adventure.
Its mix of surreal settings and direct questions about identity is the defining lens through which to understand the game.
