Star Hunter - Infinite Lagrange is a tactical extraction game set in a galaxy altered by the collapse of the Sacrum Chu Imperium. You take the role of a star hunter, commanding a fleet from a modest outpost and accepting contracts and missions from rival factions. Exploration carries uncertainty: drifting imperial ruins may hold treasures and secrets, but the surrounding dangers can make retreat as tempting as pressing onward.
Completing faction work earns bounties and resources, which support defenses and production facilities at your base. The roster includes dozens of ship types alongside hundreds of fighters and warships, offering varied strategic combinations. Fleet tactics include ambushing enemies along their routes or placing ships to protect important passages. The game also depicts large-scale clashes capable of turning wide areas of a star system into no-fly zones.
Combat is presented in fully rendered three-dimensional scenes, with close-up and multi-angle views of the action. Individual hunting contracts sit within a broader contest among the galaxy’s factions: hunters can team up in squads for missions, and larger communities can join forces to seize airspace and territory. The result links outpost development and fleet command with dangerous exploration and collective conflict, framing the hunter’s work as both a search for bounty and a bid to gain strength in a turbulent postwar cosmos.
