Inari begins with a treasure map found in an old warehouse, pointing back to the protagonist’s hometown. Returning after a long absence brings three women into the story: Takane, her daughter Asami, and childhood friend Mio. Their contrasting circumstances give the homecoming its personal focus, from Takane’s life with her husband away on business to Asami’s cheerful nature and Mio’s quiet warmth.
The game is a single-player simulation built around stories and dates with its heroines. Its listed activities extend beyond those encounters: players can take on a range of mini-games, go fishing, gather items, and explore seven different places.
Its appeal is presented through the hometown mystery, three distinct heroines, and a collection of activities, not through competitive or cooperative play.
