Neptune’s adventure begins with a displacement: she has been pulled into an alternate Gamindustri modeled on the late 1980s. To find her way home, she must gather shares while confronting the Seven Sages, an alliance intent on eliminating the CPUs. That premise ties the game’s console-war setting to a personal rescue quest, with cross-dimensional friendships part of the struggle to save this version of Gamindustri.
Combat offers room to shape how attacks unfold. Players can customize combos with as many as five moves, while equipment crafting can unlock new CPU skills. The game also lets players create Plans to adjust elements of the world, including dungeon treasures and enemy difficulty, making world modification another part of its RPG design. Alongside the main adventure, Stella’s Dungeon returns as a real-time mini-game: Stella can take companions whose special skills support her search for items.
The focus here is Neptune’s story, customizable combat, world-altering Plans, and a companion-assisted dungeon mini-game, all set against the game’s playful console-war fiction.
