House Party casts you as a guest at a party after your friend Derek invites you to Madison’s house. The setting is a two-story home filled with eccentric guests, and the night’s direction depends on what you say and do. Rather than steering toward one fixed ending, the adventure offers multiple character stories and lets decisions shape which interactions become possible.
Conversation is central, but exploration and objects matter too. The game describes fifteen distinct partygoers whose reactions respond to your remarks and actions; changing relationships can open or close choices, and overheard talk may offer clues to their personal stories. Items found around the house can prompt different dialogue or relationship shifts, while some help advance a guest’s storyline. Its branching social design makes replaying the same gathering a chance to pursue different outcomes, not simply repeat a linear plot.
House Party is listed as single-player, so its party is a setting for a solo, choice-led adventure rather than a multiplayer gathering. That format puts the focus on how one player navigates conversations, discovers useful objects, and tests different approaches with the guests.
