HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED 2 - Turbocharged is an arcade racing game built around toy-car spectacle and a campaign with a story: the city is under attack, and winning dedicated races and challenges is how you set out to save it. Its vehicle selection stretches beyond Hot Wheels Originals to Monster Trucks, entertainment-world vehicles, motorbikes and ATVs, giving the game several styles of machine to take onto its tracks.
The racing is shaped by more than speed. Drift and Boost return alongside Lateral Dash and single or double jumps, moves that can help bump rivals, avoid barriers or leap over traffic to find shortcuts. Grass and sand affect handling, while vehicle categories and an upgradeable skill tree influence performance. Those interacting choices make track conditions and vehicle selection part of the race, not just decoration.
Different game modes are available offline and online, with both multiplayer and single-player supported. Between races, a Track Editor lets players build courses or use community creations, while the Livery Editor and Sticker Editor support custom vehicle designs.
