Hood: Outlaws & Legends casts players as rebels and rogues in a medieval world shaped by oppression and corruption. Rival gangs pursue daring robberies against the wealthy, with the premise linking stolen riches to influence among an oppressed people. Its heists are not simply contests of force: each team must contend with human rivals as well as the guards protecting the target.
The central format is a four-versus-four PvPvE heist. Teams work to execute a robbery in environments patrolled by deadly AI guards, while choosing between stealthy movement to take treasure unseen and loud, brutal combat. Characters bring distinct skills and mystical abilities, giving the contest a mix of team coordination, infiltration and confrontation. The tension comes from having to manage both the guarded setting and the opposing gang.
Between matches, players can claim loot and invest it in perks, weapons and new looks. The result is a game whose identity rests on competitive heist planning and medieval PvPvE encounters, with supernatural character abilities set against man-made power.
