Home Sweet Home: Survive is an asymmetrical multiplayer game built around a contest between a warden and visitors trapped in an arena. The warden must hunt the visitors, prevent their escape, and avoid being killed. Visitors, meanwhile, need to work together to complete their objective, so the same match sets a hunter’s pursuit against a group’s shared task.
The roles differ in more than their goals. Wardens have distinct stats and special abilities, while visitor characters bring their own attributes and abilities suited to decoy, damage, or ritual duties. Visitors can also hunt the warden rather than simply flee. Once the objective is complete, they face a choice: join forces to eliminate the warden or save themselves by leaving the arena. That shift makes cooperation and self-preservation part of the game’s central tension.
The game also describes its matches as repeatable, with situations changing across games even when the same group returns. Its identity rests on those changing circumstances and the push and pull between hunting, completing rituals, escaping, and deciding whether to stand together.
