hololive Dreams brings hololive’s music and performers into a rhythm game framed by an island theme-park project. Its story begins with hololive members arriving on an uninhabited island; players team up with them to build a park, complete quests and expand it. More than 50 hololive members are set to appear, and completing character quests unlocks additional playable talents.
At the center is a rhythm game built around official music videos and live concert videos. Players can make and share custom charts, then take on charts made by people around the world. Auto-play offers an option for those less comfortable with rhythm games, while score-chasing involves training and organizing a party. Rhythm play and mini-games also feed into quests, talent growth and park development, tying the performance side to the broader progression loop.
The mix extends beyond music: the game describes solo and group mini-games, including casual activities and tougher challenges, as well as ways to play together or compete.
