Holodrive casts players as customizable robots built for fast, chaotic arena battles. Its premise has a playful edge: the Dummies were made as companion robots, but became fascinated with blowing one another up. Combat unfolds in 2D arenas where players can use teleporters and anti-bullet barriers to reposition or catch opponents off guard.
Movement and scavenging give the firefights their distinctive rhythm. Every robot has a jetpack, while ramps and power-ups can quickly alter the action. Players can carry up to seven weapons, gathering guns and ammunition around levels or taking them from defeated enemies.
Customization extends beyond combat equipment: players can change parts from hats to jetpacks, mixing pieces or collecting themed sets. The game also describes a free-to-play structure in which combat items can be collected through play, alongside packs, crafting and a rotating free weapon. Together, these systems frame Holodrive as a lively PvP shooter built around quick returns to combat, mobility, weapon variety and expressive robot designs.
