Hmmsim Metro is a single-player train-driving simulation built around Seoul Subway Line 1. Its route covers the stretch from Kwangwoon Univ to Anyang or Gwangmyeong, moving between above-ground and underground scenery modeled on Seoul. The game emphasizes immersion through detailed surroundings, train sounds, and a cab designed to resemble its real-world counterpart.
Driving involves more than following the track: players monitor ATS signals and manage speed, respond to the DSD driver-alert system, and switch between AC and DC power where the voltage changes. Platform screen doors and position indicators add further operational detail. Several diagrams and different trains provide variations within the route, while scenery changes with the time of day and a hidden train offers an additional discovery.
