HEART of CROWN Online turns a crisis of succession into a competitive deck-building card game. With the emperor dead and seven princesses in contention, each player is one of the empire’s powerful figures, seeking to establish a new ruler and preserve the continent’s unity. Its political premise gives the contest a clear objective: build enough influence to claim the throne.
On each turn, players use money from their estates to buy lands and action cards, developing the resources needed to recruit a princess. Each princess has a powerful effect, and timing matters: the game warns that an early recruit can gain an advantage. Players also court senators, dukes, and other influential people, aiming to reach a succession score of 20. This mix of deck development, recruitment, and political backing makes the race for the crown the game’s central strategic tension.
The format supports four-player, turn-based play, with online cross-play as well as ranked and free matches. For players who prefer a solo route through the setting, the game also includes a Scenario Mode described as a campaign.
