HAWKED is a free-to-play online adventure shooter built around expeditions to X-Isle, a lush landscape of jungles, beaches, and ancient ruins. You play as a Renegade, setting out alone or with friends to explore, fight monsters, and search for treasure. Its swashbuckling premise gives the island’s varied terrain a clear purpose: each outing is a hunt for a valuable haul.
Exploration is more than a route between firefights. Puzzles open Vaults, where traps, monsters, bosses, and treasure make each discovery a fresh challenge. Before a heist, players can tailor a loadout with weapons and superpowered abilities, while plundered Artifacts can be upgraded to unlock new powers. The same arsenal supports both fights against monsters and encounters with rivals in PvP, giving treasure runs more than one kind of threat.
Beyond the hunts, Renegade customization spans outfits, color schemes, Avatars, Traversers, and Hoverboards. HAWKED also frames its evolving story through Issues, described as major updates containing questlines, missions, characters, and other features.
