Haven follows Yu and Kay, a couple who flee to a forgotten planet and try to build a life together. Their new home is also a place to explore: the pair search for materials and parts to repair their ship, uncover secret areas, and make a cosy base. The story’s focus stays close to their relationship, framing survival as something they face side by side.
You control both characters, gliding across the planet, gathering flow, and cleaning rust as you navigate its unstable landscape. Encounters turn that dual control into real-time combat, where success depends on coordinating Yu and Kay’s actions with careful timing and rhythm. Between expeditions, everyday routines such as cooking and crafting give their adventure an intimate, domestic counterpoint. The game also lets players choose whether Yu and Kay are a woman and a man, two women, or two men.
Haven is designed primarily as a solo adventure, but a friend or partner can join through local co-op and leave again at any time; co-op requires two controllers. Its appeal rests on handling both protagonists and their bond, rather than on multiplayer competition.
