Halo: The Master Chief Collection gathers six games into one PC package, tracing the Master Chief’s saga across 67 campaign missions. Its journey begins with Noble Six in Halo: Reach and continues through Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 3: ODST before reaching Halo 4. That structure makes the collection as much a sequence of distinct Halo chapters as a single large game.
Multiplayer has a similarly anthology-like design: each included title brings its own maps, modes, and game types. More than 120 maps sit alongside community-created Forge content, while Forge lets players build maps and create custom game modes. The result is a collection with several different multiplayer rule sets and player-made ways to play, rather than one uniform arena experience.
The game supports single-player and cooperative play as well as competitive multiplayer, including online and LAN options. On PC, customizable mouse and keyboard controls, ultrawide support, and field-of-view settings add options for tailoring the experience.
