Set in The Witcher universe, GWENT is a free-to-play collectible card game built around online player-versus-player duels. Its mix of card collecting and tactical competition puts deck construction alongside bluffing and quick decisions, with familiar figures such as Geralt and Yennefer among the characters players can command.
Each battle is a contest across melee and ranged rows. Players begin with ten cards in hand and may use any of them from the outset, choosing whether to press with a strong unit or hold cards for later. The aim is to outscore the opponent in a round, then take two of the three rounds to win the battle. That structure makes timing and resource choices central to the design, rather than treating each turn as a simple exchange of attacks.
GWENT offers classic, seasonal and Arena modes, as well as quick games against friends and competitive PvP challenges. Hand-drawn card art and visual effects give the battlefield a distinct presentation, but the core appeal lies in using a chosen deck and clever play to shape each round.
