GRAV casts players onto hostile alien planets, where exploration is tied to survival. Its worlds are procedurally assembled from biomes, alien sites, and dungeons, giving the sandbox a varied landscape to navigate. Hunting strange creatures and gathering resources feed into crafting, while environmental events can bring anything from meteors to aggressive wildlife into a night’s plans.
Building is a central part of that loop: a modular, room-based system supports anything from a defensive outpost to a larger settlement. Players craft weapons and armor from materials obtained by harvesting or killing, then face threats through melee combat or shooting. Planet-specific dungeons offer rare resources alongside dangerous foes and environmental obstacles, making them a high-risk destination rather than a simple extension of the open terrain.
GRAV also makes other players part of the survival equation. Its client-server format supports joining an official server or hosting one, and the game describes options ranging from cooperation and alliances to attacking rivals or avoiding them.
