Granny Remake is a single-player horror adventure set in a house filled with secrets and hazards. Its premise is escape: players explore shadowy spaces, from basements to attics, while avoiding Granny, whose senses make noise and presence dangerous. The house is more than a backdrop, with its different rooms presenting places to investigate and threats to navigate.
Progress combines puzzle-solving, item hunting, and stealth. The game describes challenges such as solving a cuckoo clock puzzle, using a metal detector to find hidden items, and trying the attic shooting gallery. Essential objects, including a flare gun and phone, help players work toward escape, while moving quietly, peeking around corners, and using the environment offer ways to stay hidden from Granny’s pursuit.
There are several stated routes out: repair a car, signal for rescue with the flare gun and phone, or find keys and tools to get through the front door.
