Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City brings together The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, and it can be played without owning Grand Theft Auto IV. Rather than follow one lead through Liberty City, the collection presents two distinct criminal worlds shaped by divided loyalties and the city’s violence and corruption.
In The Lost and Damned, players take the role of Johnny, a veteran of the Lost biker gang. His efforts to build opportunities for the club collide with President Billy Grey’s return and a turf war against rival gangs. The gang’s brotherhood is central to the story, set against a struggle for control of the city. The Ballad of Gay Tony shifts focus to Luis Lopez, a part-time hoodlum who works as assistant to nightclub impresario Tony Prince. Luis must navigate competing loyalties to family and friends in a world where trust is uncertain.
Both episodes are single-player stories, while the listed categories also include multiplayer.
