Glyphica: Typing Survival makes typing the core of a horde-survival roguelite. In its minimalist arena, you target an enemy by typing the word displayed above it, turning speed and accuracy into direct combat skills. Waves introduce enemies with different threats: some approach, while Swarmers fire bullets and Shooters charge attacks. That mix asks players to manage both the words on screen and the danger closing in.
Survival also depends on shaping a build, not simply typing faster. Unlockable weapons and loot combine into varied upgrade paths, with options such as setting drones to cover territory or strengthening a main weapon. Across sessions, an augmentation system provides permanent upgrades, while trials culminate in boss fights; winning trials unlocks Omens that make enemies more formidable. The game supports keyboard play as well as controller mode, where words become quicktime sequences, giving its central typing challenge a different form of input.
Runs are designed for quick sessions, and the game is listed as single-player.
