GigaBash casts players as towering monsters and rival machines in a tokusatsu-inspired showdown. Its arenas are more than backdrops: combatants can send skyscrapers flying, and the maps are fully destructible. The simple objective in its head-to-head battles is to be the last Titan standing, so arena chaos and direct competition share the spotlight.
Fighting is about more than landing blows. Players can chain combos or wreak havoc to build Giga Energy, then transform into a powerful S-Class form. Even defeat leaves room for revenge, with eliminated fighters able to fire Orbital Lasers or drop meteors. A separate casual party mode offers wacky minigames, while four single-player storylines explore the Titans’ origins and misadventures.
The game supports one to four players in its versus battles, with local play and online play that allows cross-play with friends. It also offers solo or cooperative enemy-wave challenges, where players collect perks and encounter foes with mutations, as well as a solo gauntlet against random opponents and a final boss.
