Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT follows Jin Sakai as the Mongol invasion reaches Tsushima Island, the barrier between the attackers and mainland Japan. With his clan nearly destroyed, Jin sets out to protect the island’s people and reclaim his home. The central tension is personal as well as military: he must put aside the traditions that shaped him as a samurai and forge a different path as the Ghost.
That conflict is reflected in the game’s stated approach to combat: Jin wages an unconventional war for Tsushima’s freedom. The description frames the adventure around his journey and the island’s defense, rather than presenting it as a purely competitive contest.
The PC edition supports unlocked framerates and graphics options for varied hardware, along with ultrawide, super-ultrawide and triple-monitor displays. Players can choose mouse and keyboard with customizable controls, or use a wired DualSense controller for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. These options place the same story-driven samurai adventure in a flexible PC setup, while its multiplayer categories provide additional ways to play beyond Jin’s central journey.
