Gear Up makes vehicle design the heart of its multiplayer combat: players assemble custom tanks and take them into online battles. The game’s parts support more than cosmetic variety, with designs able to change how a vehicle moves and fights. Its premise is a hands-on contest between player-built machines, rather than a fixed roster of tanks.
Movement choices range from caterpillar tracks and go-kart tires to wind turbines, spider legs and a jetpack, while the weapon selection spans miniguns, flamethrowers, cannons, Tesla generators and proximity mines. Players can also choose among submarine bodies, stealth generators and missile barrages, shaping a build around different approaches. The game describes its handling as an arcade physics simulation, giving these combinations a distinctly action-focused frame.
Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Conquest offer different structures for online play, with battles supporting up to 16 players. Leaderboards and achievements are also listed among its features.
