Gallipoli brings the First World War Game Series to the Ottoman fronts, placing players in the roles of ordinary British and Ottoman soldiers. Its settings span the Gallipoli Peninsula and Mesopotamia, from the landing at Anzac Cove to fighting through Kut Al Amara. The emphasis is on historically grounded battles across coastal, desert and urban terrain, rather than a single battlefield or army.
Matches are objective-based player-versus-player battles built around squads and teamwork. Players choose among ten specialized classes, including Officer, Heavy Machine Gunner, Sniper and Stretcher Bearer, with each assigned a battlefield role. The gunplay is deliberately weighty: weapons require methodical reloads, while a soldier’s mental state and familiarity with a weapon affect handling. Public matches can also include bots, and bots are optional in custom matches.
That scale sits alongside a class-based structure and a one-shot-one-kill approach, where coordination and careful weapon use shape the experience. Its combination of Ottoman Front settings, historical roles and demanding firefights distinguishes it within the broader WW1 Game Series.
